My home is in upstate New York where I live with my wife, daughter, dog and two cats.  The end of October we will welcoming a son/brother to our happy family.

I am entering my tenth year as a full-time teacher.  Working in New York State has been challenging at times, but the majority of my days I go home happy.  (When you are working with adolescents, you won’t go home happy everyday!)

Anytime I read something an educator has written or hear an educator speak I always like to know their background.  While you can learn from anyone, many times you can learn more from people who are more experienced.  With that in mind here is why you should (or maybe shouldn’t) read my blog:
